Mechanical

Our 1973 Trans Am engine displaces 455 cubic inches and is the L75 YA coded original engine that was rated at 250 horsepower@4000 rpm and 370 lb/ft @2800 rpm.

It has been modified and now has more horsepower with the shaker hood scoop, the engine block and 6X heads painted in the correct Pontic blue paint, chrome valve covers, polished Edelbrock Aluminum intake, four-barrel carburetor, performance tubular exhaust headers, Dual exhaust system, Variable Ratio power steering, Power front disc brakes, MSD electronics, Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission, and rides on chrome 5-spoke aftermarket mag wheels and black sidewall tires.

This 1973 Trans Am has the “Radial Tuned Suspension” that delivers a more comfortable ride while also providing better cornering.

Interior

The interior looks like a true performance machine with all black nicely bolstered bucket seats and matching rear seat, an armrest center console housing the chrome automatic shifter with the black leather shift knob, Pontiac’s iconic three-spoke sports steering wheel, wood grained dash panel with all the gauges, Factory radio, Black carpeting, Heat and Defrost.

Exterior

The 1973 Pontiac Trans Am already represents an iconic year and was the last one to have some iconic features. This includes the unobstructed urethane nose, and a touch of chrome with the classic bumper that fits the contours of the sculpted rear end.

It is painted in white and showcases the frontend spoiler, flared wheel wells, and full-width rear spoiler, the shaker hood scoop, air extractors on the front fenders, and iconic hood.

This TA package is one that it will remain appealing for many more years to come and has always retained a continual rising collector car value.
